===Wormery===

Cheap alternative to expensive wormery.

Required:
1, A small swing bin.
2, Some gravel and sand.
3, a box of wine :)
4, Expoxy glue
5, Gaffer tape/Duct tape

Drink the wine - leave 24 hours...
Remove the wine bag from the box. With scissors cut the wine bag from the tap. Cut diagonally across the clear plastic part of the tap (which the bag was attached to) until it can be stretched open to release the tap part. Use junior hacksaws, wirecutters, scissors, bread knife - whatever works for you.

Drill a hole as low on the front of the bin as possible. Make it the diameter of the tube of the tap - but smaller than the tube guard. To do this use a drill, file, heat source... or whatever works for you.
Rough the outside surface around the hole with sandpaper. Do same for inside of tube guard. Apply epoxy glue to the inside of the tube guard - push the tap into the hole from the front. Leave it to allow the glue to set - follow glue makers instructions.

When the tap is firmly attached - fill the bin to 2 inches above the top of the tap with gravel. Apply half an inch of sand over this.
Gaffer tape the swing lid shut on the bin. Add patterns to the bin to make it more fitting with it's surroundings. Prop up on a couple of bricks to allow access under the tap. Ensure the worm bin is near the house for ease of access, otherwise you may not bother...
Fill with kitchen waste, soil and some worms dug up from the garden or buy them. There are many sites that can give you hints and tips about keeping a wormery going... here's one for example...

Good Luck :)
